So, you might be sitting around today thinking, “What kind of feel good way am I going to share my money this holiday season?” Many of you may already have ideas on organizations or people you’d like to give to, but for those of you who are still considering your options, consider sponsoring $5 or $10 for a fun night Aaron and I would like to have for the girls of New Hope!
Here’s the idea…
December 21st is Fuzzy Sock World Peace Day! Yes, this is just another one of those silly holidays like “National Doughnut Day” or “Ride Your Bike to Work Day,” but what better days to eat doughnuts or ride a bike to work? In our opinion, wacky holidays are just good excuses to do something with a friend or two, or twenty… which is why Aaron and I would like to host a “Fuzzy Sock World Peace Party” in our tiny rooftop apartment for the girls of New Hope. In light of the holidays being right around the corner, we’d like to pair this evening with Christmas cookie decorating, holiday tunes and pajamas!
Of course this means we’ll have some ingredients to gather together, and a few small financial contributions would greatly help. The contributions will cover the dough, cookie cutters, frosting, icing and an assortment of sprinkles. And what’s a holiday party without hot chocolate! Finally, we’d love to gift fuzzy socks to each of the kiddos who comes to the party!
Please help us to share in a fun, festive night with the kids!
In order to donate, you can choose one of the fixed amounts listed in the donation form (varying from $5-$30), or you can personalize how much you want to give!
