I’d like to begin my first post back by saying thank you to my supporters who so dearly missed me while I was away.
Thank you to Adrienne, Brittany, Jasmine and Ronn who sent comments for me to approve requesting I utilize their ad space and buy random stuff I’m not interested in.
Thank you to the explicitly-stated usernames who I think were offering things of sexual nature to me in what appeared to be Portuguese.
And by “thank you” I actually mean Oh, how I cannot stand these robots. Is this an inevitable detail of trying to be a blogger? Or are there ways around it?
Onto bigger and better things, no actual human contacted me from my blog space while I was away. It’s quite exciting actually. Except not. Humans: Feel free to comment on a regular basis so I’m aware that someone on this planet besides by sweet and loving husband is actually reading this.
So, Bear and I had a lovely time in FL. Please feel free to scroll through some of our Instagram shots if you’re interested in viewing some of the lovely captured moments.
Also, I can’t say I’ve ever missed my work while I was away on vacation. I missed the girls at the salon and am glad to be back in the swing of things.
Also (again), we have made a giant dent in our kitchen remodel since being back and are excited to be cooking in a more functional space. I also found a paint color for our living room that I love. It is peaceful and offers good feng shui vibes to our home. (Collonade Grey by Valspar, in case you were wondering. Complimented with the Pavestone accent wall by Valspar.) I also found a classic farmhouse table for $60 that has been distressed with white and grey tones. I have been looking for four mismatched chairs that would go well with the character of our new table and located them on Monday. Mother Bear actually spotted them at the flea market (albeit, they are not mismatching) and when she laid eyes on them said to herself, “Oh, these belong to Sam and Bear.” Moments later I confirmed they were indeed our chairs and now they are in the dining room. Oh, and we purchased all of them for $75. We were fortunate to be looking at them while the vendor was on site, and she offered a great deal to us. They are simply adorable with the farmhouse table. Months ago, Mother Bear gifted us with a jelly cupboard that I fell in love with at a local auction. Double louvre doors. It fits so well into the space we’re creating. I finally white washed it earlier this week, and I’m a pretty decent white washer – if I may say so myself. Things are coming together in the house.
I’m sure – if you’re reading this – you’re looking for updates on public transportation. Read on to my newest post to hear about Wilbur.
